Despite its entry-level price the G-Series is so good we found that even experienced anglers liked it and with such a sweet action we were not surprised. The rod looks great and offers a really user-friendly middle-to-tip action with good recovery. The eight-foot 3/4 weight is a nice light river rod and at the other end of the scale the ten-foot 7/8 weight has made a fine sea trout and grilse rod. John Bailey has even being using them to catch Barbel on the fly proof of their superb durability. The rods are designed to team up with the G-Series reels.
