The fast action of the Rod Bar range works surface lures perfectly and enables you to bring them to life with ease. The ultra fast action means the rod is powerful but not lifeless, this rod is designed and used for the angler that knows he needs a rod that works hard lures easy and can handle big fish that need stopping. It is not until you handle and use a Tenryu that you truely realise what you have bought into.
The blank is high modulus Boron carbon with Fuji SIC "Anti Tangle" rings, with the first ring slightly higher for perfect ease of release of the coils of line in the cast. With a Fuji IPS reelseat intergrated in high density black foam, this really is a good looking rod with strength and quality to the core.
The new 2011 Evo is the legendary Rod Bar blank but now comes fitted with the latest K Series anti-tangle rings from Fuji, these rings have been designed for lure fishing rods.
It has a huge weight casting range, 5-40g, (I have used this rod a lot and personally rate it 10-50g) and although we now know just how sensetive "a rod for the job" can be, the Rod Bar is the mainstay in Ultra Fast action, lightness, strength and feel. In reality it casts lures of 15g upwards and still gives you amazing feel on a 10g+ lure. |
